Installing wire rope railings by your self is really not that hard to do. If you’re a novice, some of the wire ropes are easier to work with than others, please use our contact form at the bottom of this page if you need help determining which of the wire rope railing components are best for your project and your skill level.
Our wire rope and the fittings are made out of stainless steel, they can take the elements. Stainless steel is used for many heavy duty processes such as hoisting cranes and elevators, and where reliability is essential such as for suspension bridges…wire rope can take the weather and the elements. You can use our wire rope and the fittings indoors or outdoors.
It’s usually faster within Canada, but let’s play it safe and say it can take 2-3 weeks
The basic tools you’ll need to install Wire Rope and the fittings are:
- Drill
- Drill bits
- Tape Measure
- Pencil
- Wrenches
Nothing too fancy!
We sell the wire rope railings and the components you need to secure them safely to the posts or whatever those things are called, but you need to get those whatever those things are called from elsewhere.
